BELL, COMMUNITY - The Fifteenth Annual Bell Pow Wow will be held August 4 and 5, 2000 in the Bell Community, which is located in beautiful northeastern Oklahoma. The pow wow, though small by some standards, is a wonderful outdoor pow wow that gives you a feel of Native American activities way back when.

The Bell Pow Wow is a contest Pow Wow, with prize money for Junior Boys and Junior Girls and four categories for men and four categories for women. The drum is open and all drums are welcome. More than fifty arts and crafts exhibitors will be providing a wide spectrum of Native American Indian Art.

The Bell Community is densely populated with Cherokee families. The setting is in the beautiful foothills of the Ozarks.
