She says she is Cherokee by birth and Blackfoot and Ojibwa by adoption, born Rita Ann Suntz, she runs the "American Indian Heritage Foundation", a Virginia based charity in Falls Church, VA

The Foundation is raking in "BIG MONEY" - financial records are NOT available and they have been barred from collecting funds in VA, MI, MD, NY and other states. 1990 tax return showed 8 million in public support, w/ expenses listed at 7.4 million. In 1988 Ms. Moon collected $63,000 as president w/ her husband collecting $59,000 as chief exec.
