Tasha Apple, a young Lakota Sioux is in dire need of a kidney transplant. According to her Aunt, Amanda Takes War Bonnett, she has been diagnosed with end stage renal disease and is now living with her kidneys functioning at only 10 percent.

Tasha's Aunt stated, "This disease has been estimated to run its course by spring and so far no donor has been found."

Tasha lives on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

What is left of Tasha's kidneys aren't working well and she is having problems with her heart. We are praying one of her aunts will match and be able to donate her a kidney.
