Program subjects are about - 22 Ojibwe women who study for their degrees in Northern Minnesota, - the first woman and the first Native American to hold the office, and the only Green Party mayor in Minnesota, and a unique series of events called, Amerika: Land of Rape and Genocide, focusing on the sexual exploitation of American Indian women/girls and African American women/girls in the U.S.Indian Uprising is a one-half hour Public Affairs & Cultural radio program for, by, and about American Indian people broadcast each Sunday at 4:00 p.m. over KFAI 90.3 FM Minneapolis and 106.7 FM St. Paul.
