Dreamkeeper Miniseries To Be Screened

Hallmark Entertainment and the ABC Television network will be screening Dreamkeeper at the Native American Journalists Association annual convention Friday June 20, 2003.
Dreamkeeper, the miniseries, tracks a disaffected Native American teenager and his 86-year-old grandfather (portrayed by August Schellenberg) as they travel hundreds of miles to what might be the old man's last Pow-wow. Along the journey, he dazzles his grandson (portrayed by Eddie Spears) with mystical tales passed down through generations.
Dreamkeeper was directed by Steve Barron (Merlin, Arabian Nights) and scripted by John Fusco (Thunderheart, Young Guns, Crossroads) Robert Halmi, Sr., Chairman of Hallmark Entertainment served as Executive Producer on the project.
Dreamkeeper will air on The ABC Television Network in November 2003.
