We Are The 7th Generation, 'A Celebration of Lakota Culture, Spirituality & Resistance', Friday, February 28, 2003 From 7:00 p.m. til 10:00 p.m., Rapid City Civic Center.
As part of the 30th anniversary of the occupation of Wounded Knee 73 events, the Oglala Sioux Tribe is hosting an evening of nationally known American Indian Performing Artists at the Rushmore Civic Center in Rapid City South Dakota.
The following acts will be performing: INDIGENOUS, JOHN TRUDELL & TRIBAL VOICE, CHARLIE HILL, STAR NAYEA, MARGO THUNDERBIRD, RED PONIE & "THE ONE & ONLY BUGGIN"- WAYNE MALONE.
There will also be a special slide presentation commemorating the 30th anniversary of Wounded Knee 73 by Dick Bancroft.
