Discover the enchanting world of Dale Chihuly at the Eiteljorg Museum this spring. From swirling glass to vibrant trade blankets, come see what Chihuly is all about. See three exhibits and a special museum store Feb. 15 - May 11, 2003. We will remain open until 8 p.m. on the first Thursday of March, April and May. Those dates are: March 6, April 3 and May 1, 2003.

Wrapped in Tradition: The Chihuly Collection of American Indian Trade Blankets In celebration of a centuries-old Native American tradition, Wrapped in Tradition will showcase a special exhibition of 80 American Indian trade blankets from the collection of Dale Chihuly, internationally acclaimed artist and native of Tacoma, Washington.
The exhibit features 15 glass sculptures by Chihuly that were inspired by the rich design and colors of the trade blankets. Also on view in the exhibit are several Native American-made materials showing the original inspiration for the blanket designs.
