A Treaty Conference relevant to Medewakanton and other Sioux Treaties is being held on February 5, 6, and 7, 2003, hosted by the Lower Sioux Treaty Council. It will be held at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, Morton, Minnesota. Attending will be, Chris Leith (Spiritual Leader), Treaty Council members and invited speakers. The conference is open to the public.
