The Native Wellness Institute is proud and honored to bring to Native men and boys five (5) special gatherings that embrace seven teachings of our grandfathers. These are: Respect, Resolve, Responsibility, Rebuild, Relations, Reclaim, Reverence.

These five gatherings will take place in the four directions of Turtle Island beginning in May 2003 and culminating in a North American Summit in 2004. Each gathering will host four to five hundred males with the Summit attendance expected to be four thousand men and boys.

The Journey's objectives are; to teach men how to return/embrace manhood and culture. To increase skills as fathers, grandfathers, partners and leaders. To initiate an on-going support system. To reclaim and celebrate male warrior spirit.

It is hoped that by having a celebration and a relearning of the seven teachings, native men will become stronger in spirit, become better role models, learn to be responsible fathers, loving partners and return to wholeness.
