Dave Anderson to Receive Grant from Oprah's Angel Network for his "LifeSkills Center for Leadership" Charitable Organization.Minneapolis, MN, - Famous Dave Anderson, Founder and Chairman of Famous Dave's of America, Inc. (Nasdaq: DAVE) will be honored for his charitable work on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and will receive a $25,000 grant from Oprah's Angel Network for his non-profit organization, "The LifeSkills Center for Leadership", which provides leadership training for disadvantaged youth. Anderson, an American Indian, Choctaw/Chippewa, has devoted his life to making a difference in the community and in lives of others less fortunate. He founded the "LifeSkills Center for Leadership" in 2000, with the mission of empowering and inspiring at-risk youth to reach their ultimate potential and to turn today's challenges into tomorrow's opportunities. The LifeSkills Center for Leadership team holds training seminars for disadvantaged youth, teaching them leadership and communication skills through team building exercises and giving youth the tools to build self-awareness and confidence. Famous Dave today is one of the most successful Native American businessmen in America, and his story of his road to success is inspirational. Anderson has faced tremendous obstacles in his personal life, having overcome bankruptcy, alcohol and drug abuse and other obstacles on his way to achieving great personal and professional success.

The LifeSkills Center for Leadership was founded in 2000 by "Famous Dave" Anderson, the Founder and Chairman of Famous Dave's of America (NASDAQ: DAVE). The mission of the LifeSkills Center is to inspire at-risk Native American youth to become healthy, confident, enthusiastic leaders in their communities.
