The Metropolitan Urban Indian Directors invite you to come together as Elders, Families, Friends, Veterans and Young Warriors for a Day of Prayer, Honor and Memorial.

On behalf of the American Indian community, please join us as we bring together our community to pray, to give honor to those whom have served and those whom were affected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

We ask you to participate in Ceremonial Mourning, Healing and Thanksgiving. We are bringing together spiritual leaders and inviting volunteer drums to help us in prayer and in honor. There will also be a Community Feast, please, if possible bring a dish to share with others.

The event will be a Day of Prayer, Honor, Memorial, on Saturday, October 20, 2001 at 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Minneapolis American Indian Center, in the Amphitheater, 1530 E. Franklin Avenue, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
