The Native American Music Association has released their finalists for the 4th Annual Awards ceremonies on October 20, 2001 at the Scandia Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico.Among the finalists in two seperate catagories are Rich-Heape Films productions BLACK INDIANS: An American Story for Best Long and Short Video and TALES OF WONDER for Best Spoken Word Recording. In the CD music Best Compilation finalists is EMERGING POWER, a benefit for Native American Rights Fund published by Red Feather Music and co-produced by C. Brotzman and Susanne Aikman. Aikman is a Native producer who produces and hosts alterNATIVE VOICES on American Indian Radio on Satellite and KUVO-FM in Denver.
