WASHINGTON, D.C. - Secretary of the Interior, Gale Norton, will tour the Tiospa Zina Tribal School on Monday, July 16, 2001. The tribal school is located in Agency Village, South Dakota. Norton will be greeted by children from the school, Tribal Leaders and School officials.

After a short introduction program, Norton will then tour the new campus which has a two-year old gym, built during the first phase of construction, and a kitchen, dining room, as well as, a K-5 classrooms currently being built under Phase II. She then plans to view the area where phase III of construction will take place. The tour will end with a closing song in the new gym.

The construction is being done under the Build a School Program, Office of Indian Education Programs' (OIEP).
