Special Event: 11th Annual Youth Cultural Gathering and Gathering of the Sacred Pipes Sundance, sponsored by the American Indian Movement Grand Governing Council. As foretold in the Prophecies of Nations throughout this land, we are seeing our Native People entangled in webs of destruction. We are seeing our children turning against their families, surrounded with violence, controlled by drugs and alcohol, and are dying without peace and love. The Prophecies have predicted this, that our children will become lost and confused without knowing "from whence they came," the teachings of the Elders would be lost and forgotten, that times will be hard for our Indian people.
These prophecies also tell us what we must do to turn this around. It is told that the answer is in our teachings. We must follow...
