London, England - Join us on the 26th June to both remember those that died in the Pine Ridge reign of Terror in the 1970's resulting in the continued imprisonment of Leonard Peltier, and also to give support to the indigenous people of Turtle Island who are still being persecuted to this day.* Where: We will gather in the area around the Fountain of Life adjacent to the Aldford Street North Gate in Hyde Park and have an informal picnic (please bring your own food and soft drinks) and socialising event and then proceed to the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square for a vigil. If the weather is inclement the gathering place will be around the covered seating rotunda adjacent to the Brook Street Gate.
* Time: The picnic will be from 12 noon until 2pm and then at the American Embassy from 2.30pm onwards.
* How to get there: Nearest underground station Marble Arch (Central Line) - take one of the exits marked for Hyde Park or Park Lane, walk through Speakers Corner and continue down parallel with Park Lane. Buses: Numerous!
Parking: Underground car park on Park Lane (clearly marked) and Pay and Display all around Grosvenor Square.
