Dear Editor,

I applaud the recent firing of the SGU President, I can only hope and pray that other boards will follow suit, such as the SWA Inc. Board and clean house.

Just being part of the Lionel Bordeaux/Colombe Clique doesn't necessarily make you a honest Director/point man-woman. There are still a whole lot of us Sicangu Lakotas who want Program Accountability. We still want an end to the favoritism, nepotism, drug and alcohol abuse, and domestic violence that is being carried on by these directors/workers and being condoned by certain brown nosed Council People.

I understand that the recent rally for Lionel was paid for by the SGU. It almost hinges on a form of embezzlement to be able to have your friends/relatives use program monies to hire a medicine man and pay for the food to try to make a showing. Every time there is a disgruntled employee who was terminated by Lionel for their wrong doings, are they afforded the same benefits to try and provide a cover-up and get themselves reinstated? I don't think so.

I think Lionel should take it like a Man and walk away from it. He needs to remember that sooner or later it would catch up with him. I don't think the good individuals he violated and fired or used his position to hurt are afforded this benefit, if you can call it that. To me it's greed.

I noticed a few of the IRA, so-called paper where the money is at, Chiefs are again speaking out on behalf of Lionel. Only here, do this clique make Chiefs out of men who marry non-Indian women.

Ho Hecetu Yelo,
