Wallace "Jun" Little, honored warrior, passed away the morning of, April 30, 2001 at 3:00 a.m. "Jun" Little's partner, Iris, was with him until he passed.Wallace was head Tokala at the Oglala Lakota Oyate building in Pine Ridge and respected by all who met him. Jun will be missed by family, friends, Tokala and those he worked with throughout the years. Services will be held, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday May 3, 4, and 5, 2001.
The Funeral of Wallace "Jun" Little, honored Tokala, Lakota Warrior, husband and father will begin in Pine Ridge, South Dakota at noon on Thursday, May 3, 2001. The procession consisting of the Riders on horseback in a team with one horse having no rider, and a carriage carrying "Jun" will proceed to the Oyate Building in Pine Ridge.
There will be a wake for the duration of the night at the Oyate Building; then will proceed on Friday May 4 to the Lone Man School with all night vigil where there will be a Traditional Service and then will be escorted to the family cemetery for burial.
