We are gearing up for a Rally and Protest which is to be held on May 11, 2001 at the Federal Court house in Pierre, S.D.

It appears that Judge Kornmann doesn't want the Rosebud Sioux Tribe to stop the building of the second worlds largest Pig Farm on our land. He has been putting injunctions and gag orders out on the opponents of the Pig Farm.

A lot of People are afraid, because this Bell Farms or Sun Prairie, is said to be pumping a lot of money into the area, and will possibly pump money into the the upcoming Rosebud Sioux tribal Elections.

In a already corrupt Tribal Council system, money talks, especially for the so-called elected leaders who currently ride the fence on issues. Win or lose on the Hog farm issue, we, the Grass Roots Lakotas, are the one whose expense it will be on.

Those of you who can help us get Media attention, or help us in any way help get the word out to the world, that the Sicangu Lakota Oyate don't want this large corporate Hog Farm.
