Dear Editor of Argusleader,
03-12-01I am a Ihanktonwan Grassroots Oyate member and the secretary of the Dakota/Lakota/Nakota Human Rights Advocacy Coalition. We are a grassroots based group that was formed, after the U.S. Civil Rights Commission forum, in Rapid City, S.D.. We are a active group that investigates, advocates, and stands for the Human and Civil Rights of the D/L/N Grassroots Nation and all other Nations. Recently we protested ICT (Indian Country Today) because of their media suppression and bias reporters. They failed to report important Grassroots issues, which in turn is causing detrimental Harm to our nation, for which you all stand, free.
Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Press is something that we don't have here on the Grassroots level. This is where most of the violations are happening, which brings me to why I am writing you today. I would like my name taken off your e-mail subscription, and will no longer patronize with your paper. Because you to have a bias reporter on your staff. We no longer will except this treatment of our people. Who are promoting predators who help exploit our people. News like this, travels fast when no one cares about your issues in Indian Country. A lot of people are taking notice on the taking of D/L/N Children by the State of South Dakota, with the approval of the corrupt tribal Governments. It is only a matter of time before we find a lawyer, who will help us put a end to these violations to our grassroots people. Until that time, we stand firm against these violations to our Nations. This letter will be cc to D/L/N Human Rights Advocacy Coalition and supports, World Wide.
Write questions on why the news is suppressed here in the State of South Dakota, write to the Editor; editor@argusleader.com and to Lee Williams; lwilliam@argusleader.com
