The Best Music of Aboriginal Canada Juno Awards Nominees 8TH Annual "Honouring Our Own" Saturday, March 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Coloured Stone, 205 Richmond Street West, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.The 'Best Music of Aboriginal Canada' Committee of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) with the Association for Native Development in the Performing and Visual Arts (ANDPVA) will host the 8th Annual "Honouring Our Own" for the 'Best Music of Aboriginal Canada' Juno Award nominations.

The ceremony will commence with an Opening Song and Prayer from Traditional Drummers and Elder. Presentations by keynote speakers including Gord Peters from the Centre for Indigenous Sovereignty CFIS), will be followed with music performances by some of the nominees in attendance.
In addition to the live webcast via the Internet on The Web Party), festivities will be taped for future broadcast on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) and CKLN 88.1 FM's syndicated Native program Renegade Radio. Consistent with cultural protocol, a giveaway for the nominees and volunteers will close the event. We hope you can attend and help "Honour Our Own".
