News from the Field - Spirit, a new female white buffalo was born approximately May 1, 2000. No humans were present at her birth, and therefore it is assumed to be a natural birth. Spirit is currently living with her mother and father, in the same field. Both are alive and well, and living with a small group of other buffalo.
