I am writing this as a formal complaint. During a public tribal meeting, in the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Council Room, Rosebud Sioux Tribal Offices, Rosebud, South Dakota. Radio Station KINI 96.1 FM, was providing coverage with a live broadcast, with Noah White Lance doing the show.

During the program, Two Strike Community member Ned Metcalf did use the air waves and the meeting to maliciously criticize me, Alfred T. Bone Shirt, he repeatly criticized me for actively coordinating a human rights protest against Radio Station KINI 96.1 FM, St. Francis, S.D.

Ned Metcalf stated "Bone Shirt, why do you want to speak on the radio, when you were protesting the radio station?"

I was standing up to the table, which held the microphone. Trying to show respect, for the room was full of our Elders and Tribal Members who was witnessing the proceedings. When I was able to pick up the microphone, to give a rebuttal. Ned Metcalf told and motioned to Noah White Lance to disconnect to the Station. This was done in front of a live Audience of Rosebud Sioux Tribal Members.

Ned Metcalf maliciously opened the dialog on live radio to a listening audience, about me and my role in a protest there. He and Noah White lance conspired to cut off my rebuttal, which I was doing in a formal manner, which I politely requested to do in front of the public that were present and on air, after Ned put me on the spot. Ned was allowed to stray off the initial context of the meeting by Noah White Lance. Noah allowed Ned to talk about the radio issue, and denied me due process to defend myself and our organizations position on the matter of the radio station.

I asked Noah White Lance why he cut off my response, why he would not let me tell the listening audience why I needed to provide a rebuttal. Noah stated, "I am here for Willie Kindles issues only", he then went down the hallway.

That is a very wrong statement, for a majority of the meeting had to do with various serious tribal issues and he knew that, because he allowed them to be aired. He allowed Ned to talk out of order, even when the people and Elders saw Ned Metcalf abusing the meeting and talking out of turn, actually hogging the microphone.

Noah White Lance saw and witnessed Two Strike Community Vice Chair person, Ida Marshall, reprimand Ned Metcalf for violating and abusing his talking on the Radio., which amounted to stroking his own ego and that of Willie, Charley Colome, Lionel Bordeaux, Russell Eager Bear. Noah allowed Ned to do that. This is unprofessional, unethical, censorship. To have your staff allowed to abuse a persons human and civil rights is wrong.

I pray that appropriate disciplinary action be taken against your staff member Noah White Lance. A formal letter to Ned Metcalf that this type of abuse will not be tolerated, and that other Legal course of actions are forthcoming.
