Minnesota - American Indian Day is Friday, September 29, 2000. The following events are being promoted to celebrate American Indian Day.

Event Information:

12:00/Noon at Mounds Park Burial Mounds area, St. Paul, Minnesota, Potluck Feast ~ Bring food, especially agencies attending. Opening Prayer ~ Drum Groups.

Red Wagon Contest- Mini Float contest. Dress up your favorite red wagon for your group, agency, son or daughter or yourself! Three prizes/trophies, will be awarded.

SKIT Contest. Bring out your talent with family and friends Celebrate American Indian Day. This day is being promoted to become a "National Holiday" for Native American Indian people.
