Minneapolis, MN - A rally will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2000 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for any and all who wish to join in protesting the racist mascot of the University of Illinois. This rally will take place at the Metrodome, where the University of Illinois plays.

Participants are asked to meet at the Peacemaker Center at 9:00 a.m. The center is located at 2300 Cedar Avenue, in S. Minneapolis. The march to the Metrodome is to begin at, or about, 9:30 a.m. The start of the game is scheduled for 11:00 A.M.
