There will be a Human Rights Protest against KINI Radio Station 96.1 FM & Rosebud Educational Society (catholic church) located on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation in St. Francis, South Dakota.

At issue is media suppression, censorship, equal access, fund-raising, genocide and Lakota Nation human rights violations being committed by the Catholic Church.

On September 28,2000 at 1:00 p.m. We will begin to gather at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Community Center parking lot. Sponsored by Sicangu Grass Roots Oyate, Dakota_Lakota_Nakota Human Rights Advocacy Coalition and American Indian Movement.

I want to bring to your attention the fact that we, as Grass Roots Lakota Indian People, We want you and the FCC to begin to do something to stop the abuse of the Catholic Church in using this radio Station, as a device to beg for money in their, the Rosebud Educational Societys, (Catholic Church).

We request that you begin to stop the abuse of the Radio station, in violating our Inter-National Indigenous Human Rights.

The church begs for money in the name of the local Indian population here on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation, of which they got the money to build the Radio station KINI 96.1 FM, Crookston Nebraska-St. Francis, South Dakota.

The money used to run the radio station is begged for in the name of helping the local Indians. They use the airwaves to further the Catholic Churches policy of Conversion, They will not provide our Indian People with equal air time, to teach our children of they way of life, culture, religion, news of traditional Indian governmental updates. I a wait your reply.
