Scary Situation at the Red Cloud Building

Red Cloud Building, Pine Ridge Agency, South Dakota - It was a scary situation at the Red Cloud Building on the night of July 17th.
        The Outlaw Council members ( Oglala Sioux Tribal Council) had an illegal meeting during the day and they passed a resolutuion stating that ' They were going to evict the GrassRoots Oyate out of the building'.
        During the meeting, one of the council members had stated that nobody in Washington D.C., or the B.I.A. in our State could help them and they had told them that this trouble had to be resolved within the tribe, so that was what caused the red alert------ initiated apparently by Manual ' Fool Head' Cordina---one of the Oglala Sioux Tribal Council(Renegade or Outlaw members) by wanting some kind of confrontation between us and the outlaw council members.
        Earlier in the evening, we were told that a caravan of cars was headed to Pine Ridge with the BIA police to evict us from the building; all in all, it was just a rumour, but it could still happen.
        There are many ' Indian haters' out there who would give the ' go ahead'.
        It states in one of the papers, that these Outlaws were given over $260,000 of the Empowerment Zone money to build some buildings for their office space and they still want our building. What next? 1973 all over again? Maybe this is what the people in Washington D.C. really want...what do you people think?
