February 5th marked the 34th week of "March for Justice" to White Clay, Nebraska and the establishment of Camp Justice. We are still waiting for many answers, written responses and actions we have requested from officials in the past.

On January 6th, 2000 the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission granted liquor licenses to White Clay, Nebraska businesses. We are protesting the Nebraska Liquor Control Commissions decision to grant the licenses. Our protest letter is (attached). The Bureau of Indian Affairs, or government officials, has not stepped forward to guide us through the legal and financial process of protecting our lands or us.

On Wednesday, February 9th at 10:00 am we will sponsor a Walk for Justice, Walk for Treaty Rights, Walk for Sovereignty and Walk for Freedom to White Clay, Nebraska protesting the issuing of Liquor Licenses to Arrowhead Bar, Jumping Eagle Bar, Pioneer Bar and H&M Bar in White Cay. Protest letters will be filed in Sheridan County, Rushville, Nebraska.

On behalf or millions of Supporters of Camp Justice we hereby state that we are all outraged for the disregard the commission has shown for the laws in effect in America. The disrespect and defiance against our Treaties, Acts and Orders signed by Presidents on behalf of the people of the United States of America, and Tribal Leaders on behalf of our great Sioux Nation motivates us to demand that the licenses be revoked.

On Thursday, February 10th, at 11:00 am, officials have scheduled an update meeting with the families of Wally Black Elk and Ron Hard Heart, our two Lakota brothers who were found dead, brutally beaten and mutilated a few feet from the Nebraska/South Dakota border on June 8th, 1999. It was in their honor, and because of all the other unsolved murders and injustices against our people, that Camp Justice and the March for Justice to White Clay, Nebraska was established. A press conference will follow the meeting.

Saturday, February 12th, Tom Poor Bear has been invited to Lincoln, Nebraska where he will attend and speak during a Nebraskans for Peace workshop. He will also be speaking to the students of the University of Nebraska, and he will be advocating throughout Nebraska, where we have many Camp Justice supporters. Tom Clifford will lead the March for Justice to White Clay on Saturday in Tom's absence. A big turnout for all events this week is expected.

We would like to thank our supporters of the Eagle Nest & Wounded Knee Districts, and all the volunteers who have supported us in our efforts. A special thank you to those who worked so hard planning the events of this week. For their encouragement and support, we wish to honor Jerry Matthews, from Pine Ridge, and the staff of the Native American Rights Fund, for staying with us, believing in us, and for helping us through the many legal obstacles we have faced. We need the assistance of other legal help to assist Gary on a pro-bono basis.

We wait for those who know of the corruption and mismanagement of funds against the Oglala Oyate to step forward to do what's right, and give testimony, documents, and evidence of any known violations to those you trust. Members of Camp Justice are still assisting with security and supplies to help and protect the protestors occupying the Red Cloud Building.

Camp Justice grows stronger everyday with the support and encouragement from others. Camp Justice supporters will continue to stand united and strong in our efforts to seek justice and accountability and to see White Clay, Nebraska as well as other areas belonging to our nation, returned to us. We will continue our efforts to obtain the accountability and justice our Nation deserves and expects.
