Minneapolis residents and supporters from around the region will be leaving for Big Mountain, Arizona on January 8th, 2000. We will be travelling to be human rights observers and land supporters for the last remaining Dineh (Navajo) elders who are resisting forced relocation at the hands of the United States Government and multi-national mineral corporations who want the coal, uranium and other minerals that lie beneath the Dineh's sacred ancestral lands. The resisters at Big Mountain have been given the final date of February 1st, 2000 to leave or be forcibly evicted from their ancestral lands. Free and Open to the Public
