ANN ARBOR, MICHIGAN - The Native American Programming Task Force, American Indian Science & Engineering Society, Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs &Trotter Multicultural Center, Division of Student Affairs, University of Michigan Invites you to attend: The 36th Annual "Dance for Mother Earth," Ann Arbor Pow Wow!

The gathering will be held, Saturday, April 5, 2008 10:30-9:00 P.M. and Sunday, April 6, 2008 10:30-6:00 P.M. at Crisler Arena, 333 E. Stadium Blvd, Ann Arbor Michigan. The Grand Entry times are: Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, April 6, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. For more information call the Pow Wow Hotline: 734-647-6999.

If you would like to volunteer for the 36th Annual Ann Arbor Pow Wow, please send e-mail to Brittany Marino. Volunteers get free one-day admission to the pow wow if you volunteer 2.5 hours. If you volunteer both days for 2.5 hours, you get free admission both days. Brittany will contact you with specific duties.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older and able to work a complete shift and attend a training session. Volunteers must attend one (of two offered) training sessions to learn about Pow Wow and to understand the responsibilities of the task. More information will follow on the volunteer training sessions.

Shifts are 2-1/2 hours long based on the following schedule:
Saturday- 10-12:30, 12-2:30, 2-4:30, 4-6:30, 6-9
Sunday- 10-12:30, 12-2:30, 2-4:30
(Note: each shift overlaps with the previous one by 1/2 an hour so that there is time to switch off the volunteers without having any station uncovered.)

Volunteers are need for the following activities:
Admissions (4 needed per shift)
Security (6 - 8 needed per shift)
Locker room monitors (2 needed per shift)
Distributing wristbands at the door (4 - 6 needed per shift)
Runners (2 runners per shift)

Daily Admission Rates
* General Public: $10.00
* Students (High school & College w/ID): $5.00
* Seniors (60 &up): $5.00
* Children (4-12): $5.00
* Children (3 & Under): Free
* Family Pass (2 adults and 2-4 children): $25
Group Sales for parties of 12 or more:
1. Adults $7
2. Seniors/Students w/ID: $4
3. Children $2
