        The Legendary Richie Havens will appear in Concert on Saturday Night November 24th at 8:00 P.M. at the historic Provincetown Town Hall on Cape Cod. The Mashpee Wampanoag Drum Group, The Wakeby Lake Singers will open the evening with Honoring Songs and Prayers for Leonard Peltier. Provincetown group, The Three Marys will be opening act. Bob Seay of WOMR-Outermost Community Radio and National Public Radio will Emcee.

        Short video excerpts on the Peltier case will be shown. Proceeds will benefit the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee in Lawrence Kansas. Tickets are $15.00 and $30.00

        Havens rose to Stardome with his monumental set at the Woodstock Festival and has since played all over the world including his appeatance on behalf of Leonard Peltier and Nelson Mandela during the 1986 tour co-sponsored by the Leonard Peltier Defense Committee and the African National Congress.

        Richie Havens is best know for his hit songs, Freedom, Handsome Johny, High Flying Bird and his powerful rendition of Bob Dylan's Just Like A Woman.
