TAHLEQUAH, OK - The Cherokee Nation will host a Multiple
Resources Fair for students on Thursday, February 28, from
2 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Talking Leaves Job Corps Center
Gymnasium, located at 5700 Bald Hill Road in Tahlequah.
The Resources Fair is being hosted by Cherokee Nation’s Career Services and will provide information about financial assistance for education and training , as well as employment services information. The event is designed specifically for students and parents and will focus on “Rising to Self-Sufficiency.” Representatives from various post-secondary institutions, Cherokee Nation, Cherokee Nation Enterprises, Workforce Oklahoma and other organizations and businesses will be available to answer questions.
