PARK HILL, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Heritage Center will host the Eighth Annual Cherokee Heritage Gospel Sing on May 19th from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Cherokee Heritage Center grounds. The event is sponsored by Thalden and Boyd Architects. The free concert event includes music, a hog-fry and fun for the entire family. Concert-goers will enjoy gospel singing in both Cherokee and English, sung by local choirs, individual singers and regional vocal groups. Before the gospel sing, guests can take advantage of the many attractions and exhibits offered at the Cherokee Heritage Center at the regular admission price. These attractions include the Ancient Village, Adams Corner Rural Village, the Cherokee National Museum and the Trail of Tears Exhibit. Entry to the grounds and museum store are free. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Cherokee Heritage Center is located just outside of Tahlequah, at Park Hill.
