TAHLEQUAH, OK - Keeping cultural activities alive, the Cherokee Nation will host three stickball games from Friday, August 31 through Saturday, September 1. The games are being held in conjunction with the 55th Annual Cherokee National Holiday.

“Stickball is a lot of fun and is very popular at the holiday,” said Shane Dominick, event coordinator. “We are holding three different games this year to accommodate every level of skill among participants.”

On Friday, August 31, the youth will play at 6:30 p.m. and the adults will play at 7 p.m., at Markoma Christian School, located at 1833 Notty Acres Drive in Tahlequah. These games will be considered social games and are less competitive.
