TULSA, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Enterprises is pleased to announce Mark Fulton as its new vice president of gaming operations. Cherokee Nation Enterprises is the premiere gaming, hospitality and entertainment destination in northeast Oklahoma.

Fulton’s immediate responsibilities include leading the casino, racing and retail operations of all CNE facilities, which including seven casinos, three hotels, live horse racing with simulcast operations, two golf courses, two retail convenience stores, six retail tobacco stores and a travel plaza opening in May. These various operations employ nearly 3,200 people across northeast Oklahoma. Fulton will also be responsible for driving the growth of revenue and profitability for each of these operations.

Fulton’s career began in finance, earning his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University in 1986. Fulton, a certified public accountant, soon moved from finance to the casino, entertainment and hospitality industry, where he has more than 14 years of executive management experience. Fulton boasts extensive experience in managing the growth of casinos and hotel properties through new construction and renovation. Such experience will be a great asset to Cherokee Nation Enterprises, which is preparing to break ground on a $125 million expansion of Cherokee Casino Resort in the coming months.

Fulton comes to CNE with experiences in multiple gaming jurisdictions while working with Resorts Destinations, Delaware North Gaming and Hospitality and the Isle of Capri Casinos.

He serves and has held various officer and board responsibilities for the Mississippi Gaming Commission, United Way, Junior Achievement, American Heart Association and Mississippi State Athletics.

Mark Fulton will report directly to David Stewart, CEO of Cherokee Nation Enterprises.
