The “Reach the Rez” tour is a national endeavor to provide positive programs and outreach to enrich, educate, entertain, empower and uplift residents in Native American communities.
Already this year, the tour has performed in over 80 communities, continually repeating Lightfoot’s inspirational message which has been heard by thousands of people across Indian Country. During each stop, Litefoot performs a free concert and a motivational speech directed toward Native American youth.
“We educate our children and fill their minds up with everything that we think they need to achieve in this world, but what good is that if their spirit’s dead? You’re filling up an empty shell. It’s obviously not getting it all done,” Litefoot said.
An actor who has appeared in movies and popular TV shows such as “CSI,” Lightfoot also sports his own record label, Red Vinyl Records, as well as several clothing lines. He has won several Native American Music Awards and has been profiled in Time magazine.
