TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee National Youth Choir will hold its annual “Senior Recognition Night” on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the Cherokee Community Meeting Room behind the Restaurant of the Cherokees in the Cherokee Nation Tribal Complex south of Tahlequah.
This night recognizes and honors the choir’s graduating seniors. This year the choir will lose five members: Angela Chuculate of Hulbert High School, who joined the choir in 2005; Jamie Nakedhead of Stilwell High School, who joined in 2003; Kinsey Shade of Tahlequah High School, who joined in 2001; Ryan Sierra of Sequoyah High School, who also joined in 2001; and Jesse Wilkins of Adair High School, who joined in 2003.
