ROLAND, OKLAHOMA - Cherokee Nation Enterprises has purchased the former Roland Days Inn, located at the junction of Interstate 40 and State Highway 64. The hotel is next door to Cherokee Casino Roland.

“As we continue to expand the Roland Casino, and construct a Travel Plaza, it makes good business sense to also provide hotel rooms for our guests,” said CNE CEO David Stewart. “The Days Inn property became available so we capitalized on the opportunity to purchase it.”
“Cherokee Nation believes in re-investing in our communities,” said Chad Smith, Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation. “This purchase is another example of our commitment to growing the economy in northeastern Oklahoma.”
CNE began operating the facility on April 21, and will not continue using the Days Inn brand. The hotel will be renamed the Cherokee Casino Inn. Room rates are $49.00 per night for a weekday stay, and $59.00 per night for a weekend stay.
The 44-room facility will undergo minor renovations and repairs to the interior and exterior, including repainting the rooms, replacing bedspreads, linens, drapery, and new artwork, among other changes.
When fully staffed, the Cherokee Casino Inn will employ approximately 15 people.
CNE now operates three hotels with a total of 307 sleeping rooms. In addition to the new Cherokee Casino Inn in Roland, CNE operates the 150-room Cherokee Casino Resort and the 113-room Cherokee Casino Inn, both located at I-44 and 193rd near Tulsa.
Cherokee Nation Enterprises is the retail, gaming, entertainment and hospitality business for the Cherokee Nation and operates casinos in Catoosa, Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson and Tahlequah, as well as two Cherokee Outpost convenience stores, seven retail tobacco shops, two gift shops, two golf courses, and three hotels.
