STILWELL, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Nation Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center will be hosting a youth day camp from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday, March 13 through Wednesday, March 15 at the Stilwell Middle School.“We will be focusing on four main topics which include physical activity, nutrition, diabetes and tobacco,” said Shirley Cochran, health promotion-disease prevention educator for the Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center. “We will also focus on native heritage during the third day of camp, which will include marbles and stickball.”
The camp is free and open for all students third through fifth grade in Adair County. Breakfast, two snacks and a lunch will be provided daily.
