TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – Cherokee Nation Career Services will be sponsoring an Introduction to A+ computer course on Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning Wednesday, February 22 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Business and Technology classroom behind the Cherokee Nation tribal complex in Tahlequah.The 72-hour course will provide students the opportunity to learn the necessary skills in order to prepare for the A+ Certification Course which will begin in June. In order to complete the Certification Course, students must pass the A+ Core Hardware Technician and the A+ Operating System Technologies examinations.
Basic computer knowledge is required for the introductory course, and Cherokee Nation employees, family members, and members of the community are invited to participate. The course is sponsored by Cherokee Nation Career Services and the Native American Vocational Technology Education Program.
