TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Nation Cultural Resource Center will be hosting a Cultural Immersion Day Camp each week days, June 5–30, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Cherokee Elementary School in Tahlequah.The camp is for Cherokee citizens who are students in grades K – 4. The camp will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about Cherokee language, history, art, music, traditional games and crafts.
Participants must provide a copy of tribal citizenship card or CDIB. The deadline for registration is April 30, 2006. For more information about the Cultural Immersion Day Camp contact the Cultural Resource Center, phone: 918-453-5151.
