The Cherokee Family Research Center will host a one-day genealogy seminar on Saturday, October 22. Reduced fees are offered to individuals registering prior to October 10. ![]()
PARK HILL, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Heritage Center is currently offering a reduced registration fee for the upcoming genealogy seminar, "In the Cherokee Nation: A Guide to Research." The seminar is Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Osiyo Classroom located behind the Cherokee Nation Gift Shop in Tahlequah. Desk registration is from 9:15 to 9:45 a.m.
Pre-registration, before Oct. 10, for this conference is $30 for Cherokee National Historical Society members and $35 for non-members. Registration after Oct. 10 is $45 for members and $50 for non-members. Early registration is recommended as class size is limited to the first 50 enrollees.
Participants of this seminar will be introduced to several aspects of Cherokee history as well as the various techniques used to conduct Cherokee genealogical research. General and detailed information about particular Cherokee rolls will be offered.
