TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – Cherokee Nation Elder Services is hosting an Elder Fall Festival at the Tsa-La-Gi Community Meeting Room for elders aged 50 and above on Friday, October 28, from 12 noon until 3 p.m.There will be food, door prizes, games and a carnival. Elders may also try their hand at breaking a piñata at 1 p.m. Any elder interested in participating is encouraged to bring a decorated pumpkin for a Pumpkin contest. Pumpkin judging will begin at 2 pm. The event is open to seniors and is free of charge.
