TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Sequoyah High School (SHS) cheerleaders will host a youth cheerleading clinic, Oct. 4, 5 and 6. The clinic is open to children ages 4 to 12. Cheer clinic participants will learn a cheer and dance to perform at half-time of the SHS football game on Oct. 7.

"This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year," said Bonnie Griffin, SHS cheerleading coach. "It's definitely the fundraiser that is the most fun. The squad gets the opportunity to teach to younger kids and the younger kids learn from cheerleaders that they see perform every Friday night at the football games. It's a lot of fun for everyone."
The fee for the clinic is $25 per participant and will be held from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Oct. 4, 5, and 6. Participants will receive a t-shirt for attending and free admission to the Oct. 7 football game by wearing their t-shirt. The deadline for registration is Oct. 3.
For information or to receive an application, contact Bonnie Griffin, phone: 918-456-0631 or Tera Shows, phone: 918-453-8255.
