TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – The Cherokee Nation Small Business Assistance Center and TERO Department will be hosting a special workshop for current and new Cherokee Nation vendors entitled “How to Do Business with the Cherokee Nation” on Monday, Dec 5, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Cherokee Casino in Catoosa and again on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at 6 p.m. in the Tribal Council Chambers at the Cherokee Nation complex in Tahlequah.

Purchasing representatives from Cherokee Nation, Cherokee Nation Enterprises, Cherokee Nation Industries, Cherokee Nation Home Health, and Cherokee Nation Housing Authority will be on hand to discuss their respective procurement processes and answer questions from vendors.

The workshop will also include an orientation on the new Cherokee Bids web site, which is now used by all entities for bids and announcements.
