LOCUST GROVE, OKLAHOMA – Cherokee Nation Indian Child Welfare (ICW) will benefit from the upcoming Crafter’s Village Arts and Crafts Sale, scheduled for Saturday, December 3 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 4, from noon until 5 p.m., at the Locust Grove Community Building.The annual Christmas Craft Sale features handcrafted items including jewelry, ceramics, quilts, blankets, embroidery, Christmas yard art and décor, Native American art and more. There will be a fundraiser booth located at the show entrance. Vendors for the show donate items for sale to the official “fundraising” booth. Show attendees can purchase chances on the items for a $1 donation for each chance. There is no limit on the number of chances a person can buy. This year, all proceeds from the fundraising booth will go to benefit Cherokee Nation ICW to help provide Christmas gifts for the children in tribal custody due to abuse, neglect or abandonment.
