TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA – There are still a few booth spaces available for the Cherokee Nation Elder Services craft fair, scheduled for Thursday, December 1, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday, December 2, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Tsa-La-Gi Community meeting room at the Cherokee Nation tribal complex in Tahlequah.There is no fee for the booth space for vendors who are age 50 or above, live within the Cherokee Nation jurisdiction, and are Native American. Booth fees are $25 for vendors who are under age 50, live outside the boundaries of the Cherokee Nation, or are not of Native American decent. Vendors must submit a copy of CBIB or tribal membership verification, proof of age, and proof of address for the fee to be waived. All booth fees will be used for the Cherokee Nation Elder Angel Tree, and donations will be accepted.
Booth contents must be handcrafted, non-offensive, and fit inside the 8’x10’ space allotted. Booth spaces must be reserved no later than November 28. For more information or to reserve your booth space, contact Cherokee Nation Elder Services, phone: 918-456-0671 (ext.2241).
