AFTON, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will host an educational resource meeting in Afton for prospective students who may be interested in attending a college or technical trade school."This will be very beneficial to students," said Nettie Detherage, employment and training program specialist. "We will have people available to assist them with all of the paperwork for entering school and applying for financial aid."
The public is invited to attend. The meeting will be held at the Northeast Oklahoma Vo-Tech campus in Afton on January 12 at 6 p.m.
"We invite high school seniors and anyone else who may be interested in furthering their education," Detherage said. "We are here to help."
