"We like his competitiveness, his ability to score and we feel like he's coming from a good program," said Mick Weiberg, head basketball coach at Northern Oklahoma College. "He can take care of business both on the floor and in the classroom."
Moore averaged 13.5 points per game, 4.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists during his senior year at SHS. His team also made four straight state tournament appearances, including winning the championship in 2003 and winning second place in 2005.
"I think he's a complete player," said Larry Grigg, SHS head basketball coach. "He was a joy to coach."
Grigg also believes that the basketball program at SHS helps to prepare the players for competition at the college level.
"He won't be intimated," Grigg said. "We've played in front of large crowds, in big gyms and at a high level of competition. He'll be ready to play in college."
Moore plans to major in physical education while in college.
