TAHLEQUAH, OKLAHOMA - The Cherokee Nation will host a free business incentives training seminar on Monday, October 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cherokee Nation complex in Tahlequah."Anyone interested in or affiliated with economic development, business development, or industrial recruitment is invited to attend," said Anna Knight, director of the Cherokee Nation Small Business Assistance Center.
The Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODOC) will conduct the seminar. The training session will be geared towards teaching attendees how to apply the Oklahoma business incentives to specific business situations.
"This information will enable attendees to speak knowledgably to perspective business clients as well as local business owners about the Oklahoma business incentives and how to calculate this incentive into dollars saved," Knight said.
