STILWELL, OKLAHOMA – More than 50 Cherokee Nation Industries (CNI) employees gathered around their co-worker, and friend, Juanita Teehee at a luncheon in her honor last Friday, August 27, 2004. Her well-wishers brought food, cake and presents, but the occasion was not for a birthday, but a goodbye.

Teehee is retiring after 30 years of service at (CNI). “She has been a tremendous asset to the company and a dear friend to many throughout the community,” said Gary Warnock, director of human resources for CNI. “We wish her the best in her future endeavors for we will truly miss her presence at CNI.”
“Cherokee Nation Industries is proud of its employees,” said Jim Majewski, CEO of the company. “The dedication and commitment that they have shown throughout the years is a testament to the resolve of the Cherokee people and their legacy. Juanita Teehee has personified this resolve for over 30 years as an employee of CNI.”
From 1974 to 2004 Teehee served as an assembler for CNI’s manufacturing division. She constructed wire harnesses and cable assemblies that are critical to our nation’s defense aircraft. As a symbol of appreciation, CNI employees presented Tehee with several gifts, including a new washer and dryer. The retirement luncheon was held at CNI’s corporate office in Stilwell.
